Our expenditure to maintaining the stocks, factories, labour and cold-rooms are piling up. IICTA is in a process to give proposal to Ministry of Micro Small & Medium Enterprises for bailout package.
So far there is no assurance from central and state governments to ice cream sector. The biggest reason is we don’t know about our strength and they don’t know about our numbers. We have started a survey to understand the size of ice cream industry so that we can reach to government with our demands to save this industry from sudden death.
